István Szili will not come to the gala empty-handed, in addition to the amount he donated to charity, the gloves he wore during the preparation for the match against Felix Sturm in March 2022 will also go under the hammer.
István Szili’s “message”:
– I can recommend to all contestants not to take the gala lightly, to arrive 100% prepared, to put themselves out there in the fight, so that a high-level event can be created, which in the future can also be a springboard for young talents – the Police Fight Challenge 2024 provided good advice the athlete currently working as a coach, who is traveling from Basel to Hungary. – I think that there is definitely a future for the initiative, which expands year by year and has already become international. This year, I was also approached by competitors from Switzerland and Germany who would be happy to participate in the gala, as they like the objectives of the organizers. I think that the increased interest can already be seen this year, but next year athletes from even more nations will come to Hungary – István Szili explained his vision for the future.
